Why did we choose the Red Panda for our logo?The forests they call home are being lost to deforestation and we wish to help save these creatures from the plight of human development.
The red panda is rare and populations continue to decline. It has already become extinct in 4 of the 7 Chinese provinces in which it was previously found due to deforestation (and the resulting loss of bamboo) for timber, fuel and agricultural land; poaching for the pet and fur trades; and competition from domestic livestock. The more bamboo shirts we sell, the more bamboo is grown, the more habitat and food for the Red Pandas!
