Hi!

At the Aromatics International Blog, we'll be adding you to our blog roll. Andrea recently directly me to your site and I'm in love. To be honest, I am VERY new to this world and I'm loving every minute of learning how to help my family and the environment.

(You just won't catch me saying that I'm "going green," I feel like that's become a corporate buzz word being inappropriately used with all of its great meaning being diluted.)

Anyway--please check out our blog if you get a chance. We don't have much up yet but it's really going to get cranking soon.

We are listening, and trying. On our web-site, each of the product pages list the country of origin. As much as we try to have our products manufactured in the United States, we cannot get the quantities that we need domestically. If you see a product listed as Made in the USA -- that product will have been knit, dyed, cut and stitched in South Carolina.

Shirts of Bamboo has visited the plants that manufacture our products imported from China specifically to check on working conditions. You can find more information on this here on our web-site here: http://www.shirtsofbamboo.com/social-accountability-i-8.html and more information in our FAQ section as well.

I agree that this should be a separate post on the blog. Please look for one in the next couple of days.

I honestly didn't want to comment on this post, but I couldn't find anywhere to post a new blog, so here goes:

I got some shirts from you at Langerado, and just purchased one for Granny, needless to say, I really really do LOVE the product, but WHY do you have to have it "made in china"....it will most likely keep me from purchasing any more from your company, as long as China keeps Tibet under it's thumb, i refuse to help them profit. I hope you understand. There has to be some way for you to maybe EMPLOY people in THIS country...? hey, it's just an idea. Thanks for listenin

I think it's great that ZAP is expanding and getting support from other countries. Even though ZAP may be a small corporation they are making a huge impact on our streets and for our air. ZAP has a positive outlook not only for the environment but as well as for the community, because they are loyal to their customers. I have seen ZAP's products in action and they are great! People who want to take a stand now, and live by what they preach should take ZAP vehicles into consideration. The ZAP Xebra is available now along with other ZAP vehicles. People really shouldn't critize till they have tried something.

Check out this recent link to the process of how bamboo yarn is made. Looks way to complicated for me to do.

This may sound crazy, but I have some bamboo in my yard and I was wondering if it's possible to go through the fiber process myself. Are there certain kinds of bamboo that work better than others? Do I need special equipment or an a lot of free space?
