Well, according to Kris G. our bamboo towelettes are a heat stroke preventative. Don’t tell the FDA. They’ll want warning labels.

I suffer from heat stroke when the temps get high so I need to be pretty careful. I often don’t play golf on those warm days because of it. My brother-in-law gave me one of your little towelettes to try and I’m a convert! I wet it, wrap it around my neck and voila! - instant air-conditioning! What a GREAT product!

Thanks for the recommendation!

Many thanks to the folks at Creative Loafing for their coverage of the St. Petersburg Saturday Market. Watch the clip that is posted on You Tube.

Great AP News article which starts:

LONDON: It’s no longer enough to live a greener life — now people are being encouraged to be environmentally friendly when they leave the Earth too.

Cardboard coffins, shell-shaped urns and fireworks that can be packed with people’s ashes were met by smiles at the Natural Death Center’s Green Funeral Exhibition Saturday in London.

I wanted to thank you for great gifts you gave to our club for our annual event, Uwharrie Safari 2008.  They were quite a big hit with the crowd.  We were able to raise over $500 from the raffle which we are giving to the National MS Society.  Without your participation, that would not have been possible.  We have placed a link to your site prominently on our website from our home page in hopes to increase your web site traffic.  We hope for your continued support next year.

Thanks once again.

BTW, the washcloths you gave us were a great way to expose your products.  Most folks were absolutely amazed at how soft they were.  I hope you get some traffic from our event.

I placed my order by phone, and the lady was so nice. The shirts are fantastic and perform as advertised. As the temperature changed here in St. Augustine yesterday from 60 to 88 degrees, I was comfortable regardless of the change. Ordinarily I would have had to throw on something sleeveless by afternoon. I will be ordering more! Thanks again!

I know that we are a clothing company, but when it’s bamboo clothing, we are into bamboo in its many forms.

So, today’s question is: “How Do They Make A Round Plant Into A Flat Floor?”

Thanks to Core77 Design Supersite  blog we have our answer.

Seems like every year somebody makes something cool out of bamboo: bicycles, snowboards, laptops, or a thousand other things. But the most common apps we see are slightly more mundane–flooring and cutting boards. Which got us wondering, how the heck do they get that stalk-like plant into flat, laminated boards?
